Get in Touch
MileHighCannabis.org is an educational resource, not a cannabis business. We don’t sell products, provide legal advice, or operate dispensaries. We welcome your feedback to help keep this site accurate and useful for residents, students, patients, ski-country tourists, and visitors.
Report Inaccurate Information
Colorado cannabis policy evolves with MED rule-making, state legislative action, DLCP regulatory updates, and operator restructurings. Operator-status changes — LivWell stores transferring to Vireo, Native Roots stores transferring to Verdant, the February 2026 Coffee Joint closure — require continuous tracking. If you notice information on this site that is outdated or incorrect, please reach out and let us know. Include the page URL and the specific information that needs correction so we can update it promptly.
Suggest Improvements
Is there a Denver neighborhood, dispensary, lounge, festival, university, or topic we haven’t covered well enough? An MMSO operator change we should reflect? A social-equity entrepreneur whose work deserves dedicated coverage? We’d love to hear your suggestions for making MileHighCannabis.org more useful.
About Our Team
MileHighCannabis.org is maintained by a small team of researchers and writers committed to providing free, accurate cannabis information. We are not affiliated with any dispensary, lounge, producer, industry group, advocacy organization, or law firm. Our only goal is to make Denver cannabis law and resources accessible.
For Legal Advice
This site does not provide legal advice. For arrest situations, license disputes, employment matters, university student-conduct proceedings, banking-and-tax decisions, or social-equity-license applications, consult a Colorado-licensed attorney. The Colorado Bar Association maintains a Lawyer Referral Service. Vicente LLP is the leading Denver-based national cannabis-law firm. NORML Lawyers Directory lists vetted cannabis-defense attorneys.
For Medical Questions
This site does not provide medical advice. For cannabis-therapeutic questions, consult a Colorado-licensed physician familiar with cannabinoid pharmacology. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Medical Marijuana Registry has provider information.
For University Conduct Questions
DU, CU Denver, MSU Denver, MDC, Auraria Campus, Regis, Colorado Christian, Iliff School of Theology, Colorado School of Mines, and Denver Public Schools each have their own DFSCA-compliant cannabis policies and student-conduct processes. Each institution’s Office of Student Conduct is the appropriate first point of contact for student-conduct questions. Students facing serious sanctions should consult the institution’s student-advocate office and a Colorado-licensed attorney.
For Federal-Workplace Questions
If you work for a DOT-regulated employer, the Department of Defense, Buckley Space Force Base, the Denver Federal Center (USGS, FEMA Region 8, Bureau of Reclamation, etc.), the U.S. Mint, the Federal Reserve Bank Denver Branch, NREL, or any other federally-tested position, the Colorado MMR card does not protect you. Consult an employment attorney before any cannabis-related decision.
For Cannabis-Industry Compliance Questions
Cannabis businesses operating in Denver should engage Colorado-licensed cannabis-regulatory counsel for specific compliance questions. Vicente LLP, McAllister Garfield, P.C., and other Denver-area cannabis-specialty firms are available. Marijuana Industry Group and Colorado Leads provide member-services compliance support.
